We never recommend a tooth extraction unless it is the right thing to do for your child. When it is, we make the process as comfortable as possible. We explain everything in kid-friendly language, we manage discomfort carefully, and we stay calm so your child feels safe.
After the extraction, we will talk with you about what comes next, whether your child needs a space maintainer to hold the spot for the permanent tooth, and what to expect during healing.
